An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to become part of this team who are based close to Merthyr, Aberdare and only 20 miles from Cardiff.
This role is ideal for a vet who enjoys a varied caseload, combining both surgical and medical work, and is keen to collaborate with a dedicated practice owner, a supportive group of veterinary colleagues, and skilled nurses who are actively involved in Schedule 3 procedures.
The practice is a welcoming community-based clinic situated in the heart of the Cynon Valley. It benefits from a loyal client base and a friendly local atmosphere, while also offering easy access to the wider South Wales area. With a balance of local amenities and scenic surroundings, it provides an enjoyable and well-rounded place to work.
This is a part-time position, with the successful candidate working three days per week from 9am to 6pm at the practice, along with a shared Saturday rota of one in four weekends at a Merthyr Tydfil hospital
The role is supported by a comprehensive benefits package designed to prioritise both professional development and personal wellbeing.
