This lovely independently owned practice is looking to welcome a compassionate and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to its supportive and close-knit team. This permanent, full-time opportunity is ideal for an individual seeking to develop their career within a progressive practice that values exceptional patient care, professional growth, and employee wellbeing.
The successful candidate will become part of a collaborative network of veterinary professionals focused on innovation, knowledge-sharing, and maintaining high clinical standards. Working hours are normally 8 hour shifts between the hours of 8.30am to 7.30pm, requirements are for 3 days minimum up to part time. No OOH or Weekends
You will play an integral role in supporting the clinical team and delivering excellent nursing care across a variety of cases. Responsibilities will include assisting veterinary surgeons during consultations, procedures, and surgeries, monitoring anaesthesia, and ensuring high standards of inpatient and perioperative care. The role will also involve maintaining accurate patient records, administering medications, and supporting clients with clear communication, advice, and reassurance where needed. In addition, the successful candidate will contribute to the efficient day-to-day running of the practice.
The ideal applicant will be a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse, either registered with the RCVS or eligible to register. They will demonstrate strong clinical knowledge, a positive and proactive attitude, and excellent communication skills. The practice is seeking someone who works well as part of a team, values collaboration, and is committed to delivering outstanding patient care while continuing their professional development.
