I'm happy to advertise a small animal vet role with a lovely family run independent practice in the picturesque county of Norfolk. Located around 15 miles from the centre of the city of Norwich and just 5 miles from the beautiful Norfolk coastline and beaches.
They are purpose built and equipped with their very own CT scanner, laser suite, video gastroscope, bronchoscope, and rigid scopes to name a few.
They are keen to recruit a vet with some experience to join them. They are gold level cat and rabbit friendly and pride themselves on providing a high level of both clinical and emotional care for their customers.
They are flexible to discuss applications but a full time role with them would average at 37 hours a week, (they have recently started a night team and when this is fully recruited, the day team will have No OOH's)
The caseload is varied and also carries a high proportion of around 40% exotic/zoo related cases, with a certificated member of the vet team who carries the majority of consults in this discipline, so there is no need for exotic experience, however the practice are able to offer some training in this area if a candidate is keen to progress in the field. However for a candidate with no interest to follow this then a good caseload of routine work can be offered with the ability to support other disciplines up to certificate level too.
The team have a great deal of experience so would be able to consider candidates who have some basic skills, as they can provide excellent support
May benefits are provided, Salary up to £70k, company sick pay, increased holidays with retention. Private healthcare and a rota with goo work life balance and a good amount of breaks
