An exciting opportunity for an experienced RVN to step into a leadership role and help shape the future of a growing community practice.
This clinic in Surrey is going through an exciting period of development, with a new owner joining the practice to provide clinical leadership and support the team. As part of this next chapter, the practice is looking for an experienced RVN to take on the role of Head Veterinary Nurse, with the opportunity to make a genuine difference to the nursing team and the wider running of the practice.
This is a role for someone who enjoys taking ownership, developing people and introducing positive change. Rather than simply following established processes, the successful candidate will have the freedom to help shape how the nursing team works, contribute ideas and build a positive environment where both colleagues and patients can thrive.
This is a friendly, community-focused practice with an established client base and a strong emphasis on compassionate, high-quality patient care. The Head Veterinary Nurse will work closely with the new Partner to support the continued development of the team, strengthen day-to-day processes and ensure consistently high clinical standards.
As a key member of the practice leadership team, the Head Nurse will have responsibility for supporting, motivating and developing the nursing team, while helping to create structure and ensuring the practice operates effectively. There is plenty of scope for the successful candidate to bring their own ideas and leadership style to the role.
The practice is looking for an experienced RVN who is ready to take ownership of the nursing function and play an active role in developing the team. Strong communication skills, organisation and a proactive approach will be important, alongside a genuine interest in coaching and supporting colleagues.
Previous Head Nurse or leadership experience would be welcomed, although an experienced RVN who is ready to take their first step into management and leadership will also be considered. Most importantly, the successful candidate will be someone who enjoys working collaboratively, takes pride in patient and client care and is motivated by the opportunity to help shape a growing practice.
