Full Time Veterinary Surgeon - near Dartford

Our client based in Dartford is a wonderful, modern practice with separate wards, theatre, consulting rooms and x-ray. They are now looking for a passionate, enthusiastic Full Time New Graduate Vet to join them.
Based in a commutable distance from London and surrounding areas, not too far from train and bus services and there is a shopping centre a 5 minute walk from practice.

The candidate will be supported initially with basic consultations and routine surgery and can expect to develop on these skills of the course of a year under the direction of their Mentor/Senior Veterinary Surgeon. The opportunity to pursue area of interest via post graduate certificates, and opportunity within the group to progress into a management role such as a Senior Veterinary Surgeon should the candidate wish to move into a leadership role. The team is small but the beauty of that for a new graduate is that you will receive one to one support, instead of being 6 or 7 in the que of surgeons to gain exposure. The team is made up of 1 additional vet and 5 Nurses.

Normal hours will be either 8am to 4.30pm or 11am to 7.30pm. The candidate will be required to work 1:3 Saturdays only (9am to 3.30pm) with time given back in lieu the following week. Consulting and Surgery days will be evenly shared amongst colleagues throughout the course of the rota.
