My client is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join the friendly team at its clinic in North Wales. The role would suit a vet with a strong surgical interest who is confident managing more complex soft tissue procedures independently and keen to share their knowledge with colleagues.
The position has a clear surgery focus, with three out of four working days dedicated primarily to surgical cases. Alongside delivering high-quality clinical care, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to mentor other vets, helping to build their surgical skills, knowledge and confidence.
The caseload is very varied and provides a good mix of routine and complex soft tissue surgeries
They are a well-equipped clinic with nine consulting rooms, four theatres, a dedicated end-of-life room, dental suite, X-ray suite and diagnostics room. Separate dog and cat wards provide a comfortable and less stressful environment for patients, while the wider team works closely together to maintain consistently high standards of care.
They offer a collaborative and inclusive working environment where there is no traditional hierarchy and every member of the team is valued for their contribution. They also focus on making treatment more accessible rather than simply maximising profit. The organisation believes that no pet should go untreated, or be euthanised, when a viable treatment option is available. 
The role is based on a 38-hour week over four days, with a 2-in-9 Saturday rota and a share of the Bank Holiday rota, with Bank Holiday shifts
