Our client has two sites between Portsmouth and Southampton and one in the beautiful medieval village of Bishop's Waltham - home to a famous medieval palace. They are now looking for a Full Time Small Animal Vet to join them.
Both clinics are well equipped with ultrasound, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, endoscopy and Idexx laboratory machines (Catalyst and Procyte) and they have two consulting rooms at each site as well as dedicated theatres. The best thing about the clinic is not the equipment, it is the team. There are 6 FTE veterinary surgeons with experience ranging from 3-36 years qualified, all of which are excellent, all-round clinicians. They have 10 FTE nurses across the two sites allowing them to provide a 3:1 support to surgeon ratio. They also have 4 FTE receptionists across the two sites and multiple official veterinarians.
The clinic is ideally placed to enjoy your time off. If you like walking and cycling, there is no place better than the New Forest, more into paddle-boarding, then there excellent rivers to do so and the ocean.
They are looking for a qualified vet to work full time, ideally working 36-40 hours across 4/4.5 days. You will be required to work 1:5 Saturday mornings but there is no out of hours work. Salary for this role is up to £70,000 depending on experience. An experienced veterinary surgeon is required with RCVS membership. The right to work in the UK is essential.
