Our client is an RCVS accredited practice as well as an ISFM Silver cat friendly clinic. They are now looking for a Full Time Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join the team.
The clinic facilities include, four consulting rooms, two theatres, dental suite with X-ray, ultrasound, in house lab and digital X-ray. They are a progressive practice, with a great friendly enthusiastic team. This is a very practice that promotes excellent work life balance alongside a high standard of care. The practice is based in the traditional seaside town, a couple of minutes’ walk from the beach, with a great range of restaurants, cafes and bars. Nearby, Whitstable and Canterbury are other popular destinations in the area. There is also a high-speed direct train link to London as well as easy access to the Eurostar in Dover.
Roles within this well-established team are hard to come by and they pride themselves on staff retention and work life balance as these are a couple of the teams key focuses. They know that everyone has demands and priorities outside of their career so the flexible approach to rota patterns and working hours will enhance your work life balance. The daily diary will mean you have 2 hours for lunch and messages to ensure adequate time to keep on top of your caseload.
This is an established team of 4 Veterinary Surgeons, 8 Nurses, 1 Head Nurse and 5 members on the support team. There is also an experienced and long standing Practice Manager who wants to continue to develop and grow this practice. There is a Medicine certificate holder and have the vision in practice of encouraging and supporting more certifications from any who hold interest in further development.
This is a full time role for 4 days per week but there are no OOH and the weekends on a rota. The client has a flexible approach and with that in mind is open to open to discuss part time and flexible working.
Salary for this role is up to £75,000 per annum depending on experience, plus a £5k golden hello to the successful candidate and a relocation support of up to £5k if needed.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Veterinary Surgeon who has a good grounding in routine surgeries and who is confident consulting. Having an innovative approach to the role fits with the team culture. They hope the newest Veterinary Surgeon will have excellent communications skills and a positive can-do attitude and is happy to become part of the existing collaborative team.
