Our client has a small, family-friendly practice based in Worcester with plans to expand and grow their fabulous team and continue refurbishing of their facilities. They are now looking ideally for a part time Small Animal Vet to join them.

They aim to offer an excellent service to clients and their pets and to help them do that they have in-house lab machines, x-ray and ultrasound as well as recently refurbished kennels. The team is made up of 2 experienced veterinary surgeons, 2 registered veterinary nurses, 2 receptionists, 1 client care manager and the practice manager. They also have a clinical director who is working towards a certificate in chronic pain. They pride themselves in a culture of continuous improvement within the practice and have a Silver cat-friendly clinic accreditation.

This would be an excellent opportunity for someone looking to tailor a role to fit their interests, they are happy for the successful candidate to do only consulting or have a mix. Alternatively, they would be happy with 2 part-time vets, one with a focus in consulting and another in surgery. They manage the diary to ensure you get time to complete any administrative tasks such as phone calls or processing lab results and encourage a healthy work-life balance for the team. The position would be best suited to a candidate with enough experience to be confident with some sole charge.

They offer a flexible shift pattern, with the view to work around 15+ hours per week, ideally Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday however this is negotiable, and they will happily consider full time for the right applicant or 2 part-time roles if this suits. You will be required to some Saturday mornings on a rota basis but there is no bank holidays/Out of hours responsibilities.

The salary for this role is up to £65,000 FTE depending on experience. 
In addition you will also received up to £5k welcome bonus plus up to £5k relocation allowance.

The successful applicant will be experienced and confident in veterinary duties, with the ability to take on sole charge work. They are looking for someone who will bring their own ideas to the team, so they can expand their expertise and deliver more services to their loyal clients.
