Our client is a busy first opinion small animal practice with a genuine focus on quality care for patients, based near Worcester.

The facilities include ultrasound, digital radiology, laser therapy and in house lab. This is a VN training practice and they are currently working towards RCVS accreditation. They are well respected in the local area and work closely with the RSPCA and participate in fund raising events for local charities.

You will work alongside the friendly and happy team of 3 Vets, 3 RVNs, 1 ANA, 2 receptionists and a practice manager. They pride themselves on being kind, caring and empathetic to all their patients. The ideal candidate will be confident in consultations and have an enthusiasm for surgery. Progression to clinical leadership would be fully supported if desired. The practice strive for a happy work life balance and value their team.

The day would consist of a good mix of consulting and operating. There is a collaborative approach to cases, but you would have clinical freedom and scope to work up cases. With a supportive team you will be encouraged to reach your full potential. Ideally you will have previous experience, confident with routine procedures and consultations. You will enjoy communicating and building relationships with clients, are compassionate and caring and aim for high clinical standards. You would be working as part of a team most of the time but should also be confident with some sole charge.

The role is open to full and part time applications. Full time roles are for a 4 day week, Saturday mornings on a 1:3 rota but there are no out of hours.  Salary for this role is up to £65k pa dependent on experience.
