Our client is based near Ballymena and is looking for a Full or Part Time experienced Small Animal Vet to join the team.

There are excellent facilities including digital x-ray, ultrasound and in-house laboratory and would happily get more specialist things if you have a particular interest you want to develop, as the practice focus’ on clinical excellence and client care. There is an experienced team of 7 vets, 12 nurses, 5 receptionists, 1 practice manager alongside a visiting specialist Ophthalmologist.  There are certificates holders in Orthopaedic surgery and Soft Tissue Surgery and there are other vets currently completing certificates in Dermatology and Exotics. The clinic is located 40 minutes from the North Coast and 30 minutes from Belfast. Local train and bus services available.

The team are looking for a full time or part time experienced small animal vet surgeon to work within two local practices. Working on caseloads from Orthopaedics, dentals, soft tissue surgery, medicine cases as well as routine surgeries. Ideally looking for an experienced small animal vet surgeon, who is competent in all routine surgeries and has sole charge experience. Must be RVCS registered, relocation package available. Salary up to £65,000 FTE depending on experience, plus a Relocation Allowance is available of up £5k if required and there is accommodatuon if avaialb as well.

You must be an enthusiastic, caring veterinary surgeon with excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be RCVS registered, have post qualification experience and will be comfortable doing independent consults and basic ops.
