Full and Part time Small Animal Vet - Near Newport

Our client has a successful small animal practice just 10 minutes north of Newport and they are looking for an additional vet to join their friendly team.
They are a busy but friendly training practice, based in South Wales with ideal links to Cardiff (30 minutes’ drive) and Bristol (40 minutes’ drive). The local branch surgery is near Pontypool close to the llangveth reservoir, the Brecon Beacons is within half hour providing excellent local amenities to enjoy during your time off. The practice was established in 1989 and has a very loyal client base. The practice has the usual equipment including endoscope, idexx machines, x-ray processor, dental machines and multiparameter microscope.

The team are looking for a vet to join them, they have a flexible working pattern, so they are open to full and part time applications.  Full Time is 40 hours per week, over 4 days and Saturdays on a 1:4 basis.  Part time would be 2 days per week and 1:8 Saturday mornings. 

They are looking for small animal Veterinary Surgeons who are organised, ambitious and who will fit in with a team of four vets, six nurses and four reception staff. There is an opportunity to focus on any special interests as good CPD is offered.  You must be a member of the RCVS with a good understanding of working in a busy small animal surgery. The client is flexible, forward thinking and want the successful candidate to thrive and grow in surgery. A good sense of humour is required.
