Our client located near Sandy, Bedfordshire are looking for a caring, experienced Veterinary Surgeon for small animal duties. 

This role will involve working 4 or 5 days per week (08.30-18.30 and 09.00-19.00 shift pattern) with no OOH. You will be expected to take part in a 1:4 Saturday morning 8.30-13.00. Part time applications will also be considered. 

This is a forward thinking, purpose built veterinary surgery who are a busy practice, with a very loyal client base. They have a wide range of equipment, including in-house lab, digital x-ray, new ultrasound machine, two theatres and are a friendly and experienced clinical team with a great sense of humour.

You will be joining an experienced team and will therefore need to have a comprehensive knowledge of routine procedures and experience of more complex standard procedures e.g enterotomy. You must be committed to upholding the teams high standards of patient and client care.  You must have good communication skills and provide excellent patient and client care. This is an exciting opportunity for somebody looking for a long-term commitment in a perfect location.  As one of three veterinary surgeons, you will be expected to have comprehensive experience of routine procedures and good knowledge of more complex standard procedures. An interest in developing an orthopaedic service would be encouraged, but not essential, as long as you are happy to support and mentor others and be committed to upholding their high standards of patient and client care. Full Time Salary of between £70k dependent upon experience, with a welcome bonus of $5k and a relocation allowance of £5k if required.
