Experienced consulting Veterinary Surgeon Tier 2 Practice in West Midlands

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced consulting Veterinary Surgeon who is looking to join a well-established and supportive practice environment. The role involves working alongside a team of six veterinarians, supported by a large and skilled nursing team, allowing for collaboration and shared expertise across a wide range of cases. The position offers exposure to a diverse caseload, alongside an experienced team
The practice, in Pype Hayes, is a long-standing veterinary clinic located in the leafy West Midlands area, close to Sutton Coldfield and approximately 15 minutes by car from Birmingham city centre. It is well equipped with modern diagnostic and surgical facilities, including an ultrasound scanner, digital X-ray, and a dedicated dental machine. The practice also benefits from the expertise of an experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon who provides advanced orthopaedic and fracture repair procedures.
The role is based on a 40-hour working week and includes participation in a weekend rota. However, the practice is open to discussing part-time arrangements for the right candidate.
Employees have access to private medical insurance and generous annual leave is provided, beginning with five weeks plus bank holidays and increasing with length of service.  Professional development is actively encouraged through a £1,500 CPD allowance, three days of paid CPD leave annually.  Funded certificates and clear internal career pathways are also available.
Additional professional support includes payment of RCVS, VDS and BVA fees, as well as relocation support and visa sponsorship where required. 

The ideal candidate will be a qualified MRCVS with a strong commitment to clinical excellence and outstanding client care.
