Our client is a is based near Newport and they are now looking for a motivated Clinical Lead Vet to join the team.

There is a team of 7 vets, made up of full and part time team members and  6 RVNs , 2 student nurses and an experienced client care team.  The veterinary team holds certificates in Feline Medicine, Small Animal Medicine, Surgery, Nutrition and Cardiology currently in progress. The successful candidate will be welcomed, well supported where necessary but also given clinical freedom. The y pride themselves as a progressive and collaborative practice who strive to keep looking forward.  There are well equipped consulting rooms, 2 operating theatres at each site, imaging suite with xray ultrasound and endoscopy, laparoscopic bitch spay equipment, Tonopen and dental facilities.

As a leader, you will conduct annual reviews, refine practice protocols, and collaborate closely with the Practice Director.  With a passion for driving positive change, you will drive the implementation of clinical initiatives, ensuring exceptional care for both patients and their owners. The Clinical Lead Vet role would typically entails working up to 40 hours per week, with a requirement for at least 3 days of presence across both practices (excluding Saturdays) to ensure appropriate levels of support and leadership.
