This could be an existing head/senior vet or someone ready to make this exciting next step in their career. This could be part time or ful time. There is one other vet iin the practice currently working towards a certificate in oncology.

There are no OOH's as these go to a supplier in York and Saturday mornings are worked on a 1:2 basis.

Our client in Dorset have a vacancy for an ambulatory veterinary surgeon to join their equine team. This is a first opinion role where vets are encouraged to work up their own caseload, whist sharing knowledge and skills with the other 4 equine veterinary surgeons.

Most of the work is ambulatory for leisure horses and includes stud work. There is an outpatient clinic with knock down box for diagnostic work ups and minor surgery.
