I'm happy to advertise an opportunity for a night vet to help launch a new night shift within a lovely family run independent practice in the picturesque county of Norfolk.
Located around 15 miles from the centre of the city of Norwich and just 5 miles from the
    beautiful Norfolk coastline and beaches.

They are purpose built and equipped with their very own CT scanner and laser suite and are keen to recruit a couple of vets to help them begin building an effective night shift at the practice. At the moment the On call is done by the day team, and they are keen to separate the two and begin a full time night shift. This will involve twilight consults and possibly routine surgery done during the night time. The practice are hoping to combine this service with other local practices to offer a full working shift. But will be starting from scratch so would be looking for people who are happy to work this service up
They are gold level cat and rabbit friendly and pride themselves on providing a high level of both clinical and emotional care for their customers.
They are flexible to discuss applications but are hoping to initially begin with 2 vets, so the rota could be discussed to offer suitable shift patterns for both
The caseload is varied and also carries a high proportion of around 40% exotic/zoo related cases, with a certificated member of the vet team who carries the majority of consults in this discipline, however the practice are able to offer some training in this area if a candidate is keen to progress in the field. However for a candidate with no interest to follow this then a good caseload of routine work can be offered with the ability to support other disciplines up to certificate level too.

If you would like to apply then please contact [email protected] or give me a call on 01422 433900
