    Have a a vacancy for a confident night vet to join their night team. The successful candidate will work a 7 night on 14 night off rota providing exceptional work life balance. There is an experienced support team every night and as the practice supports a number of local practices, shifts are always busy, with a varied caseload.

    As an RCVS recognized Tier 3 hospital, it is very well equipped meaning vets are able to provide exceptional care.

    As well as a fantastic rota, there is also a very generous package of CPD, RCVS fees paid, BVA fees paid as VDS. There is also an exceptional salary offered for all levels of experience, but of course, for vets with many years experienced and perhaps with, or close to completing certificates, this will be even higher.

    For those wanting to start certificates, this will be actively encouraged.

    Our hospital client based on the outskirts of Greater Manchester are looking for an experienced ECC Vet to join their night team.
    This well-equipped practice is highly regarded in the local community and has its own dedicated OOH facility where the team are committed to providing continuity of care that can be relied upon 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

    The rolling rota is great for those looking for a good work life balance; working 7 nights on 21 nights off, and runs from Thursday to Thursday.

    They operate at a high clinical standard, the business constantly works to raise standards of veterinary care in the region and as a nurse training practice, continue to develop and invest in their team as part of their ethos.

    The successful candidate will be someone who takes pride in being an excellent general practitioner with ability in all areas of veterinary practice. You must be confident and competent in emergency practice and be capable to deal with all aspects of a critical care role and will have the support of an RVN in practice alongside you.
    You will have excellent communication and people skills and enjoy the variety and diversity of small animal practice. You will also share the teams belief that good veterinary care requires both a partnership with the owner alongside the clinical skills of the veterinary team.


    All positions are permanent and in return the team offer excellent support and mentoring, with certificates encouraged.

    Our client is a well-respected out of hours provider in Cheltenham and are now looking for a full time Emergency and Critical Care Vet to join them.

    The town is renowned for horse racing, festivals (Jaz, literature and music) and a thriving bar/restaurant scene. The practice provides a high-end first opinion care service for cleitns and practices in the local area. You will have access to hi-tech equipment including a GE 16-slice CT, high quality Doppler ultrasound (GE) with a wide range of abdominal and cardiac probes, multiple multi-parameter monitors, rigid and flexible endoscopy and full lab facilities including blood gas with training provided as required. There are a team of 15 Vets and 20 Nurses. This is a busy first opinion practice, regularly performing referral level work such as TPLO's, thoracotomies and imaging such as CT, endoscopy and echocardiography. There are several RCVS Advanced practitioners in small animal surgery, cardiology and internal medicine and some of the nurses hold qualifications in nutrition and behaviour.

    The role is a highly rewarding, working alongside experienced RVNs, dealing with a wide variety of urgent and critical medical and surgical cases alongside inpatient care. The position attracts a full-time salary for working 5 nights every 3 weeks, allowing plenty of time off. The successful candidate will be competent with sole charge, dealing with emergency medical and surgical presentations.

    Experienced Night Vet required for cutting edge practice based in South Yorkshire.

    This progressive 24-hour practice are looking for a night vet to join their Night Rota, across the business they have a team of fifteen vets plus support staff and are a great supportive and friendly practice. The rota is 7 nights on 7 off and you will be involved in all aspects of routine surgical and medical practice plus emergency and critical care cases. Ideally you will have an interest or certificate in the area, however this can be supported for the right person. The team includes Certificate holders and others who are currently studying

    Facilities include all the usual equipment such as Ultrasound and Digital X-Ray, but also a full endo-surgery suite, orthopaedic surgical equipment, hydrotherapy and CT scanner, and the practice have recently opened a new extension to take referrals too

    This client based close to Leeds, is looking to create a new twilight role in the practice.
    Working with both the day and night team you would be exposed to a huge and varied caseload, with the opportunity to learn from each. This amazing opportunity would suit a developing vet who is already confident with routine first opinion but is looking for a chance to see and experience busy emergency caseloads and a chance to deal with many unusual surgeries.
    Ideally the practice are seeking someone to work between the hours of 3pm and 12pm 4 days a week, for two weeks then a whole week off. This would also include 1:3 weekend day shifts.

    The clinic is fully functioning 24 hours a day, and nights also involve consults and a full routine surgery list, as well as exciting emergency procedures fed from several practices in the area. The facilities are outstanding and include real time blood labs, endoscopes and extensive orthopedic kit and they are fully equipped to deal with complex soft tissue surgery and cardiology etc and the team contains certificate holders to provide support and mentoring, and would be more than happy to offer the chance to study for a Certificate in Emergency and critical care for the right person
    This role has the scope to progress into a full time night role if desired, or to work in the day team once roles are available.

    Our Client based in Lancashire have vacancy for an additional, experienced (ideally a minimum of 2 years) veterinary surgeon to join their team. The successful candidate will enjoy an exceptional rota based around a 7 on 21 off pattern.

    The vet will always work with an experienced night nurse and will enjoy a varied case associated with emergency and critical care.

    The practice is a very well equipped, Tier 3 hospital with digital x-ray, flexible and rigid endoscopes, full in house lab, video otoscopy etc.

    As a very large practice, there are multiple certificate holders across small animal disciplines and they would welcome anyone about to start, part way through or currently has a certificate in emergency and critical care. They would also be happy to fund certificates at any stage and for those candidates locked into a training agreement, they would be happy to buy these out.

    Candidates must be of a calm nature and able to work under varying levels of pressure as is common with all ECC roles. It is also important that they have excellent communication skills to ensure that a full handover is given to the day vets.

    Our client is a well-respected multi vet practice near to Brighton and who are looking for an experienced OOH Vet to join their team on a permanent basis.

    This group are well respected in the local area and this particular branch has been established for over 20 years. The practice has excellent facilities and are a accredited Cat Friendly Clinic with the ISFM, so offer a separate cat waiting area, have staff who are committed to the gentle handling of cats and who understand how traumatic a visit to the vets is for cats and treat them accordingly.

    The purpose-built hospital has a range of high-tech equipment including ultrasound, digital x-ray, laparoscopy, and a fully equipped in house laboratory and the team has multiple certificate holders and staff members with a huge range of clinical interests and expertise, with referral services for orthopaedics, ophthalmology, and exotics.
    The whole team are committed to continuing further development of all team members and are consistently looking to invest in their services.

    This role would suit an experienced and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon looking to join a supportive night team and ideally be happy to work 4 nights on and 8 nights off, however the team can look to consider other night rotas for the right candidate. This position would interest someone with medical or ECC bias.

    Salary will be dependent upon your experience and in addition you will benefit from following:

    6 weeks holiday per year plus Bank Holidays

The role is focused on the emergency and hospital care of a great variety of cases. You will work closely with the day team to ensure patients have gold standard healthcare. You must enjoy client communication and be able to enhance the client bond through explanation and a warm, compassionate approach. The client would be happy to hear from candidate who wish to an ECC Certificate accreditation and would be fully supported.

    Throughout the night you will be working with one of the experienced dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurses who will take phone calls, triage, care for in-patients and support you during procedures.

    Exciting new opportunity for an experienced Night vet to join a progressive Tier 3 hospital based close to Leeds in West Yorkshire. This practice deal with a mix of caseload from the routine emergencies to overnight care for the referral side of the business, which includes surgery, Cardiology, oncology, dermatology, ophthalmology and imaging, carried out by a team of certificate and diploma holders.

    This dedicated night team take care of the emergency provision for their hospital and 5 branches and other practices across the area. The rota is very attractive as it's flexible to let you pick the number of weeks you would work in a year, anything from 7 weeks to 17.33 weeks. Shifts are from 7pm till 8am. This gives ample time to spend crossover with both morning and evening and twilight shifts to ensure strong handovers and a seamless crossover between the shifts, in order to provide the very best continuity of care, then you would be supported by a team of 2 RVN's and one SVN for the whole shift.

    The facilities in the hospital are excellent, with CT scanner, various flexible and rigid scopes, ultrasound and access to an MRI twice a month.

    Salary is based on targeted on securing and keeping the very best candidates and can be up to 65k for the right person (upwards of this for ECC cert holders). Excellent CPD allowance of funding and time is given plus other benefits
