    Our client in Lincolnshire require an additional experienced veterinary surgeon to join them on a part or full time basis. They can consider 7 on 7 of, 7 on 14 off or 7 on 21 off, whichever best suits the candidate.

    The successful candidate will work with a team of nurses and provide OOH's care for the local area so most nights a busy.

    The practice is very well equipped with everything required to provide exceptional car.

    Our client would be happy to support certificates for those interested. If candidates are currently studying towards a certificate and are tied into funding agreements, our client would be happy to but these agreements out.
    Our client is looking for a Night Registered Veterinary Nurse based near Bicester.

    In the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside, this is an ideal place to live and work, close to all amenities and only half an hour from London by train. This practice is dedicated to providing quality health care with compassion.

    The surgeries are air-conditioned and have separate dog and cat areas so that the patient environment remains calm. Unlike most veterinary practices, there is a nurse awake caring for patients at the hospital every night, as well as having a vet on call. The dedicated night nurses ensure that patients receive the same high standard of care at night as they do during the day, every day of the year.

    The practice have a wide range of equipment including:
    • Philips iu22 Abdominal Ultrasound
    • Philips ie33 Cardiac Ultrasound
    • Ligasure
    • Range of digital endoscopy
    • Multiparameter monitoring including capnography & blood pressure at all stations
    • Full range of Idexx lab equipment

    They are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Night Veterinary Nurse to join the dedicated and supportive team. Working through the night, you will provide gold-standard care to in-patients, take phone calls, offer advice and communicate with the vets who are off site, but on call. Emergency surgery as necessary. The current rota is 7 nights on, 7 nights off however they are open to discuss other flexible options to suit you.

    There is a team of 13 full time equivalent vets, 13 nurses and two dedicated night nurses. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, a good communicator, efficient, diligent and hard-working. You will possess leadership qualities, be capable and organised and be able to work sole charge.

    Exciting new opportunity for an experienced Night vet to join a progressive Tier 3 hospital based close to Leeds in West Yorkshire. This practice deal with a mix of caseload from the routine emergencies to overnight care for the referral side of the business, which includes surgery, Cardiology, oncology, dermatology, ophthalmology and imaging, carried out by a team of certificate and diploma holders.

    This dedicated night team take care of the emergency provision for their hospital and 5 branches and other practices across the area. The rota is very attractive as it's flexible to let you pick the number of weeks you would work in a year, anything from 7 weeks to 17.33 weeks. Shifts are from 7pm till 8am. This gives ample time to spend crossover with both morning and evening and twilight shifts to ensure strong handovers and a seamless crossover between the shifts, in order to provide the very best continuity of care, then you would be supported by a team of 2 RVN's and one SVN for the whole shift.

    The facilities in the hospital are excellent, with CT scanner, various flexible and rigid scopes, ultrasound and access to an MRI twice a month.

    Salary is based on targeted on securing and keeping the very best candidates and can be up to 65k for the right person (upwards of this for ECC cert holders). Excellent CPD allowance of funding and time is given plus other benefits

    Exciting new opportunity for a developing vet to to join a progressive Tier 3 hospital based close to Leeds in West Yorkshire.
    They have a need to grow the team with a new shift to support both day and night teams, this would be a great introduction for someone who would like to experience both routine and emergency work and is maybe looking to get into full time night work in the future.
    The role would work with a rota of 5 days in the hospital on the day shift, followed by 2 days off, then 7 twilight shifts from 3p to 1am, then 7 days off. Giving an average working week of 37.7 hours !

    Our client is looking for an experienced Vet to join them as an Emergency/Out of Hours Veterinary Surgeon at their practice near Farnham.

    They are a friendly RCVS accredited small animal hospital and have been awarded outstanding in all 6 practice standard awards. They work to extremely high standards of patient care with separate cat and dog wards. There is an in house laboratory and laparoscopic equipment and also have flexible bronchoscope. They run a cardiology referral service therefore have excellent ECG ultrasound and X-ray equipment. You will be working with an experienced dedicated out of hours nurse.

    The ideal candidate will be an experienced out of hours Veterinary Surgeon with strong surgical skills, who is used to being in sole charge and capable of meeting the challenges of an out of hours role. You will be working with a dedicated out of hours veterinary nurse. The shift starts at 7pm in the evening, there will be a patient handover from the day vet and a chance to admit patients from member practices. You will see less patients than in a typical out of hours position because they aim to give extremely high standards of care. There is back up available for busy times with opportunity for rest breaks and you should be able to sleep most nights. The hospital cover emergency work for 12 to 13 full time vet equivalents. The night shift ends at 8.30am. At weekends, there are some day shifts available from 8.30am to 7.30pm. Saturday shifts involves a small number of consultations from 9am to midday, thereafter you will concentrate on emergency work.

    Ideally you will already have had experience working in an out of hours or emergency critical care role and will be committed to offering gold standard care to patients, clients and member practices.

    Our client based near Ashford has a start of art emergency service and are looking for an experienced Night Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them.

    The clinic has excellent surgical and diagnostic equipment that will allow you to gain experience and give your patients the best care. Separate dog and cat wards, isolation unit, ICU area with state of the art ICU unit, ultrasound facilities, digital x-ray including dental and multiparameters GA monitoring equipment.

    There is a team of team of 5 vets, 4 RVN's and 3 SVN's, dedicated reception team, a client care manager, an insurance administrator, a practice manager and cleaners - allowing the nurses to nurse! There is a visiting orthopaedic specialists who comes to practice, preventing clients having to go elsewhere and giving the nursing team an opportunity to be involved in referral orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeries. This is a busy and fast paced practice but a very down to earth and fun team who like to socialise when they can.

    They are now looking for a full time Night Registered Veterinary Nurse working 2-3 nights per week including weekends and bank holidays. This unique role gives nurses the opportunity to sleep as we hand over the out of hours at 9pm to Vets Now. A varied caseload can be expected to help enhance your skill set and you would work alongside a supportive and friendly team. Salary range 28,000 - 30,000.

    Shifts will be on a rolling 4 week rota:
    Week 1 - Thursday and Friday
    Week 2 - Wednesday and Thursday
    Week 3 - Wednesday ,Thursday and Friday
    Week 4 - Monday ,Tuesday + weekend

    This is the current working pattern but the client is open to discuss other rotas, days, hours for the right candidate.

    The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills. You must be able to demonstrate honesty with compassion and a caring approach. They are looking for someone who is happy to work on their own initiative as well as within the team, with a confident down to earth personality. Previous hospital experience is desired but not essential as full training and support will be provided.

    Our client in South London have a vacancy for an experienced small animal vet to join their out of hours team. They are flexible over their requirements to work with the need of candidates. They can offer a 7 on 14 off rota or 7 on 21 off. The salary offered is up to 67k pro rata.

    Successful applicants will be experienced veterinary surgeon, comfortable with routine surgeries and medical conditions, but will have also experienced emergency situations.

    For candidates looking to do an ECC certificate this will be funded by our client.

    The practice provide OOH's services for many local practices so the the evenings are busy. Many of the clients are internal so access to case files is not a problem for the majority of cases. They are a well equipped with Digital X-ray and dental x-ray, laparoscopic equipment, full in house lab, separate cat and dog wards.

    Our hospital client based on the outskirts of Greater Manchester are looking for a veterinary surgeon with 2+ years experience to join their night team.
    This well-equipped practice is highly regarded in the local community and has its own dedicated OOH facility where the team are committed to providing continuity of care that can be relied upon 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

    A certificate in Emergency and Critical Care or relevant discipline would be an advantage and the team would fully support a candidate wishing to undertake post-graduate qualifications.

    The rota pattern is 7 nights on, followed by 14 nights off, designed to allow you a good work-life balance and allow you to explore everything this amazing city has to offer.
